Which is better, wet or dry cleaning?
Wet cleaning is better as it offers a more thorough cleaning process. The method of steam cleaning, or wet cleaning, begins with the application of a pre-conditioner shampoo. This liquefies soils and oil-based stains which are otherwise hard to remove. The machine will then suck the sprayed cleaning solvent back up along with all the dirt and allergens. Steam cleaning will remove soil and debris deep within carpet fibres, which dry cleaning techniques simply can’t achieve.
How long does it take for the carpet to dry after cleaning?
It will usually take 3-6 hours to completely dry. 95% of the water is removed in the process, so it will only be slightly damp. However, we recommend not stepping on your carpet until it is fully dry for the best results. Once the carpet is fully dry, we recommend you hoover it. This will make sure any dirt or debris that is left on the surface is removed.
How much are carpet cleaners?
